Nathan Dean Snyder (Actor)
Nathan
graduated with a BA in Theatre from the University of
California, San Diego in 2007. He studied stagecraft under
Jim Winker, Darko Tresjnak, Ursula Meyer, Amy Scholl, and
Eva Barnes. He was involved in 25+ productions at UCSD as
an actor, director, playwright, sound designer, and run
crew. Credits at UCSD include: Fick in Balm in Gilead,
Fatt in Waiting for Lefty, Colin/Walsingham in
Beard of Avon. Since then, he has also graduated
from the British American Drama Academy where he played
Pylades in Elektra by Euripides at the London Oval
House Theatre. Nathan has also made many appearances
onstage in San Diego, including Bleacher Bums
(Onstage Playhouse), In the Blood (North Park
Theatre), Spirit of the Resilience Festival (Compass
Theatre), Big River (Lyceum Theatre), An Evening
at the Grand Guignol (Chronos Theatre), American
Buffalo (Compass Theatre), and The Country Wife
(The Theatre Inc.) He has done some short and independent
film work.
Nathan made his directing debut with No Exit at UCSD
and then went on to direct two short One-Acts in local
playwright festivals. He also wrote four plays that were
produced at UCSD and was co-founder of UCSD's 24 Hour
Theatre program. His own plays include Cricothyroidotomy
(Full Length), Stealing Home (24 Hour Theatre),
The Fall of Terah (24 Hour Theatre), and The
Jumping Ernest (One-Act). He continues to write.
Nathan is currently seeking theatrical and commercial
representation. |
