Joanne
Rose (Actor)
Joanne is
a native of Melbourne, Australia. She began her career as a
model in her teens being nominated by Elite Model Management
in New York to enter their annual Look of the Year contest
in Australia.
On her
first visit to Los Angeles, she discovered a passion for
acting.
Her first
play was the musical A Chorus of Disapproval, in the
role of Linda Washbrook at the Mordialloc Theatre Company in
Australia. She has appeared in numerous independent films,
commercials and theatre performances in Los Angeles such as
The Girl on the via Flaminia as Lisa at the Marilyn
Monroe Theatre, the long running hit stage show, The
Chicago Club Rumboogie as gangster moll, Susie at
The MET Theatre and her favorite role to date is Oleana
as Carol, at The Promenade Playhouse.
Her other
many talents include voice-over, spokesmodel for Nutiva,
columnist, founder of VeganVirgin.com and is the
author of the children’s book Tommy Tofu Saves The Day!
A
bicoastal resident of Los Angeles and New York. She is
interested in theatrical representation in Los Angeles. She
currently has representation in New York with Chelsea
Talent.
Joanne
has studied at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and AIDA
in Los Angeles.
