Sex and Violence  (by Diane Grant) was first developed with Wordsmiths at the LATC, where it was featured  in the Wordsmiths-in-Progress week of plays.  It won the ALAP Annual Reading Fest in 2002 and received a staged reading at Moving Arts.   It has been rewritten several times and was last workshopped at Write Act in 2001, along with a ten minute piece of Grant’s, called Looking for Bernice.  It is part of the Los Angeles Public Library’s Unpublished Plays Collection.
