mystery, you may just get out alive!
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from October 23rd – 25th,
8 PM
Gruesome Hotel
opens on nine possible suspects, surrounding a corpse in the
hotel lobby. Amidst the hysterical trickery and
bloodthirsty bedlam, it’s up to the audience to uncover
whose sinister motive drove them to murder. A hotel lobby
has never been busier with zany characters, sticky
situations, outrageous secrets, and bone chilling screams.
To aid in their sleuthing, audience members
will be given the chance to ask questions of the hotel
guests and debate the circumstances surrounding the murder.
After coming to a final decision as a group, the audience is
shown what really happened, and this time, it’s the
audience’s turn to die – laughing.
“This show takes the typical murder mystery
and pokes fun at its usual conventions,” said Richard
Wong, Director of Gruesome Hotel. “I wanted to
infuse it with the silliness of the Halloween season and
create a theatrical experience that was both fun to perform
and to watch.”
The Dramatis Personae consists of Timothy
Bell, David Doman, Beth Fisher, Greg Horos, Alicia Lara,
Jackie Marriott, Marc McHone, Jennifer Mims, Jason Parsons,
and Andrea Pandazedes.
