Elizabeth A. Hillman (Actor)
Ms.
Hillman’s is native to Van Nuys, raised in Kansas City and
returned to California to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
She earned her BA in Theatre in Illinois
and graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has
studied with Bjorn Johnson, L. Kenneth Richardson, Judith Patterson,
Beate Pettigrew and Sheilah Philip.
Some of her favorite past roles include
Helena in A Midsummer Nights Dream, Klara in Write Act’s World
Premiere of Teshuvah, Miss Burstner in the critically acclaimed
The Trial by Kafka, Beatrice in both the World Premiere of The
Devil’s Bride, (the sequel to Much Ado About Nothing) and
Shakespeare’s original, Mrs. Van Daan in Diary of Anne Frank,
Irina in Chekhov’s Three Sisters, the wicked French maid (she
still has the costume) Hortense in another World Premier, Bleak House
and The Step Mother in Into The Woods. Additionally she
originated the title role in The East/West Players reading of The
Seven Days of Miriam, played Margo in A Dog’s Life, Irene in
The Matchmaker, gender bended the role of the Host in The
Merry Wives of Windsor, was seen in The House of Bernarda Alba,
and has performed at the Palos Verdes Players in various roles.
Ballroom and swing dancing, along with
horseback riding, remain some of her favorite things to do for
relaxation. Special skills include knowledge and comfort with firearms,
9 years of dance training (ballet & jazz) tennis, softball, ice skating,
skiing (water & snow), golf and Standard British, French, Irish and
various US regional dialects. Ms Hillman is currently seeking
representation.
