needed in Los Angeles theatre. This program works in conjunction with Write Act
Rep's Writer's Lab and Improv Lab. This show features the directorial artistry

"I am pleased that the ensemble wanted to develop a program like this,"
states Producing Artistic Director John Lant. "I ran a successful
program at my last two theatre companies, in which we developed over 40 plays
with 17 new directors. Some of these directors have gone on to do film and
television. I was lucky enough to be chosen to work at CBS RADFORD in a two-year
program designed for new directors for TV. Even though I had shot films,
commercials, and music videos, television 3- camera format was very different. I
was lucky enough to work with Howard Storm, and hopefully I have provided a
sliver of leeway and of the environment of safety I was given. I am pleased to
present these directors as new creative visionaries to the Los Angeles theatre
community.
