Cherie J. Busby (Actor)

Cherie was born and raised in Denver, Colorado.  She moved to Los Angeles, to pursue a career as a rap artist, four years ago after receiving her B.S. in Music Industry Studies from the University of Colorado, Denver. 

Cherie’s rap and poetry talent enabled her to participate in the controversial docu-reality show, Black, White which was executive produced by Ice Cube.  Cherie began to help her friends out with small productions and soon realized she wanted to pursue acting.

Cherie has had featured roles in student films such as the USC thesis film The Cab Driver and is studying the Meisner Technique at the Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio.  Cherie loves to do karaoke and play the Nintendo Wii.  Special skills include rapping, spoken word, violin, piano, Pilates, yoga, and hip hop dancing. She is a member of AFTRA and is currently seeking commercial and theatrical representation.
