Barry Ford (Actor, Singer, Dancer, Writer)
BARRY FORD
has appeared in night clubs, theater, radio, TV and films in
Paris, New York and Hollywood. In the 60's he was, as he
says in jest, Hollywood's favorite Nazi - appearing on TV
shows like Rat Patrol and Combat and films
Tobruk, Counterpoint and Von Ryan's Express. In
2005, after many years as a NYC stage and daytime TV actor,
Barry returned to Los Angeles. Recent film work includes
roles in the soon-to-be-released features Dark Reel
and A Single Woman. In addition, Barry has starred
in several SAG short films, among which are A Four Cent
Carol, Willie Mays And The Emptiness and The
System, all of which have been submitted to multiple
film festivals. Barry's recent LA stage roles include:
Rev. Harper in Arsenic And Old Lace at the Lonny
Chapman Group Repertory Theater and President Quincy
Laurence in A Providential Occurrence at the Complex
Theater. Barry enjoys multilingual friendships in several
countries. A California State University graduate, his
professional teachers include Milton Katselas (LA), Uta
Hagen (NYC) and Françoise Rosay (Paris).
